I saw this preserved birds nest in Spain and thought it would make a beautiful lino print.
The ‘Nest Egg’ print was hand cut from lino.
Print experiments and paper testing ready for the final 2 colour print on cotton paper.
Notes – Lino cutting tips:
- Warm your lino gently with a hair dryer if you’re finding it difficult to cut or working on fine details
- If your lino ink is too thick and gloopy, dilute it was a tiny blob of washing up liquid
