Triangel scarf

I’ve started working on a smallish project to use up some of my ever growing yarn stash. I had wool left over from my Northmavine Hap; enough to make something but not enough for anything substantial.

Cream Rowan Pure Wool 4 ply

I found the Triangel pattern (Ravelry) – a small triangle shaped scarf. Gauge isn’t important and you can work as many rows as you like. Perfect for the 1.5 balls of cream Rowan Pure Wool 4 ply I have! Here’s how it’s looking.

Triangel scarf held up to the light

I started my Triangel on Friday and have worked quite a few rows already. The pattern is fairly simple and now I’ve got into the swing of it I don’t need to refer to the chart very often. I’m trying my hardest to be better at counting stitches. I don’t know why I find this so much harder with knitting than with crochet.

P.S. I haven’t spent Triangle wrong, ‘Triangel’ is Swedish 🙂
