Around Stockholm, February 2025

February was a month of semlor, grey but longer days, more cold and continued lethargy. I looked back on previous posts for this month because I really couldn't think of much to summarise, and it's the same every year! So please enjoy the impressive number of grey, grey-blue and blue-grey shades I documented with my camera...

We ventured to Bromma Blocks in the hope of finding all the things we needed. Given the size of the place, we were very optimistic, but we only came home with a £5 glue gun. The cool part was seeing planes land at Bromma airport, just the other side of the car park!

We saw trays of dental equipment for sale at Hötorget marknad. I liked some of the packaging labels and the seller tried tempting us to buy, but I think it was pretty obvious we were horrified by the idea. Home root canals are not really our idea of fun.

The pigeons all hunkered down in the lower T-Centralen entrance at Sergels Torg, on an extremely cold day.

This amazing blizzard rolled in while we were sat in a cafe, and the light turned a beautiful soft blue. We gobbled up the last bite of cookie and chugged our tea, so we could go outside and take photos!

Krishnas made their way through town but the usual singer wasn't there — which is a shame because he's been a constant for several years. The guy singing in his place is someone we spoke to when we first arrived, on a street not too far from here.

And that's all for February!
