Knitted owl (Mr)
When I finish a craft project I usually feel a bit 'meh' for a couple of days because my hands are not busy. Last week I was feeling that way because I'd finished my Northmavine Hap. Although I didn't have to wait long for my next crafty fix because a few days later I was given half a knitted owl kit!
The owl kit was made by a company called Twilley's of Stamford and comes with everything you need to make 2 owls - a Mr and a Mrs. I had all the materials for a Mr Owl (cream body).
I stormed through this project like a piggie in an all you can eat buffet. It took me 2 evenings to complete from start to finish (the pattern used basic stitches and finished size was fairly small). I was making this in front of the TV and accidentally knitted the body length for Mrs owl instead of Mr owl because I wasn't concentrating enough. But I'm happy with the way he turned out as you don't really notice the mistake.
